BDA reveals initial line-up for 2015 British Dental Conference & Exhibition

Booking now open for next year’s event. Some of the top names in UK dentistry have already been confirmed to speak at next year’s British Dental Conference and Exhibition, the BDA announced last week.
Returning to the Manchester Central Convention Complex from 7-9 May 2015 the three-day event will offer a chance to hear from experts in a broad range of dental specialisms as well as gaining up to 15 hours free CPD.
The event’s opening speaker, Basil Mizrahi, is just one of the names to look out for. A specialist in Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry Dr Mizrahi runs a full time private practice, is an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute and Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. Dr Mizrahi will be delivering two lectures at the event.
Other leading lights confirmed for the event include Daniel Wismeijer, Professor and Head of Department of Oral Implantology and Aesthetic Dentistry, Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACDA); Jason Smithson, private practitioner and restorative dentistry expert; Francesco Mannocci, Professor of Endontology at King’s College London Dental Institute; Chris Tredwin, Professor of Restorative Dentistry and Head of Peninsula Dental School; Richard Cure, Head of Dentistry Studies and Clinical Director of Orthodontics at the University of Warwick, and Ian Dunn, specialist periodontist and Undergraduate Teaching Lead in Periodontics at Liverpool University.
Alongside the headline clinical speakers the event will once again offer a wide variety of career development and business-focused presentations, Core CPD, a large exhibition and an evening programme of social events.

A range of price options are available for BDA members and non-members with 3-day Conference Passes free for BDA Extra and Expert members, and significantly reduced for Essential members. Prices are also significantly reduced for DCPs and Foundation Dentists. BDA student members can attend for free.
