Help Ben Fund support Children in Poverty
Date: December 17th, 14:22

“Thank you so much for your support for my Mum and me, particularly in my Summer holidays. We are grateful and will forever be thankful to you all.” - son of a beneficiary

There are 3.6 million children living in poverty in the UK . Deprived of basic necessities such as food and adequate clothing, they often suffer distress and bullying. Poverty impacts on all aspects of a child’s development.

This year the BDA Benevolent Fund gave two additional allowances to those with children of school age. A grant in July helped with the extra costs of having children at home all day during the long school holidays. Another grant, paid in August, helped with the cost of new shoes and clothes for the new school year, a major expense for families who are struggling in difficult circumstances. Both grants were modest sums but made a significant difference to the families we support.

The Ben Fund is there for all dentists and their families. Please make a donation and help children in need to have a good and fulfilling start in life.
