Offering a diverse and captivating two days of lectures, live demonstrations, hands-on workshops and live discussion sessions, The Dentistry Show 2014 provided a plethora of opportunities for dental nurses. The lecture programme this year was created by Dental Nursing Magazine in association with BADN.
An array of first-class speakers were featured, such as Fiona Ellwood, Hazel Beaudin, Carole Boyle and Richard Charon, with hours of vCPD available to choose from.Popular topics covered providing dental care in a secure setting, potential changes to nurses’ scope of practice, social media and effective management of patients with dementia.
Other highlights included the BSP PerioLounge, ADI Implant Theatre and STO Lounge, where nurses with an interest in, or working with dentists in the specialist areas, could find out more about new techniques and materials. And the 400 company-strong trade floor also enabled delegates to discover the latest oral health products and equipment available in the industry.
With the added benefit of easy networking and an exciting social programme with after-Show drinks and the Heart Your Smile’s ‘Big Heart Party’ on the Friday night, the event had it all.
The Show returns to the NEC in Birmingham on 17th & 18th April 2015. For more information visit www.thedentistryshow.co.uk,
