The Alpha Omega dental fraternity is the worlds oldest international dental organisation, representing many thousands of active dentists and dental students across the world.
For students, Alpha Omega offers an invaluable support network, with an active mentoring scheme and the opportunity to take part in the Alpha Omega Externship Programme, giving students the opportunity to spend two weeks in a city in another part of the world, observing some of the finest clinicians around. Alpha Omega also offers a range of undergraduate elective awards as well as the prestigious Dr John Zamet Memorial Prize in Periodontal Research for post-graduates studying in the UK.
One of the great strengths of Alpha Omega is that its members don't just see it as a fraternity they see it as a family. To bring family members together, Alpha Omega runs a rich and varied social programme with events throughout the year both here and in Europe, that are the ideal opportunity for members to unwind, socialise and make new friends.
As a member of Alpha Omega you will be part of one of the oldest and most diverse dental organisations in the world. Renowned for its educational and philanthropic work, Alpha Omega aims to promote professionalism and excellence in all areas of dentistry, and is free to join for student members.
