AOG members help mend broken hearts

In the British Heart Foundation’s London to Brighton Bike Ride 2012 led by Dr Manny Vasant, 40 AOG cyclists joined thousands of others, to complete the 54-mile (87km) journey.

As the largest charity bike ride in the UK and possibly even in Europe, the route started in Clapham in South West London, passed through Surrey and Sussex, and came to a triumphant close on the Brighton seafront.

Members of the AOG are no strangers to fundraising, with events of their own organised throughout the year to support a variety of charitable projects both in the UK and abroad. Their current international projects include a new Disability Centre in Musoma, Tanzania and a Dental Treatment Centre in Chitrakoot, India, working to improve the quality of life for so many people.

The AOG would like to give a huge congratulations to its members and all other participants who completed the BHF’s Bike Ride this year, and helped make the event such a fantastic success!
